To promote unity and brotherhood amongst members of Daivadnya Samaj.
To promote and advance overall development of human life concerning economic, physical, cultural, intellectual and spiritual well-being.
To promote activities for the relief of the poor and needy.
To do all kinds of social, cultural, community activities and carry on any other object of general public utility not involving the carrying on of any business activity for profit.
To do all such things as may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects.
To promote and advance education by establishing or assisting in establishing Bal Vihars, primary schools, colleges and other institutions.
To construct, establish, maintain, manage, improve and aid schools, colleges and institutes for technical and/or industrial education, libraries, reading rooms, universities, academies, faculties, museums and other educational institutions and orphanages in Goa or in any other area in the Union of India.
To take over the management and administration of educational institutions of the aforesaid nature and orphanages already established with all their assets and liabilities.
To construct, establish, maintain and/or manage laboratories, workshops, hospitals, boarding houses, dormitories and to provide other facilities in educational institutions to suit growing knowledge. To give awards, scholarships and/or freeships to poor students which may include the cost of books, equipments and other necessities, travelling and maintenance expenses and to help them by other suitable means. To assist students who are preparing for, entering upon or engaged in any profession, trade, occupation or services by outfitting, payment of fees for instruction, payment of travelling expenses or such other means for their own living.
To collaborate or cooperate with any other Associations, Society, body, incorporated or not or other Institutions or Agencies having objects and purposes similar to those of the Society.
To accept subscriptions, contributions, donations, grants and gifts from any person, body, firm, corporation, institution and/or Government for all or any of the purposes of the Society, with or without condition.
To purchase, take on lease or otherwise acquire any properties, movable, immovable or both and construct, alter, maintain, keep in repair and develop lands, houses, buildings necessary or convenient or desirable for the purposes of the Society.
To lend and advance moneys to such persons and institutions and on such terms as may deem expedient and guarantee the performance of any such persons or institutions and generally to give guarantees and indemnities.
To establish and support, or aid in the establishment and support of Societies, institutions, funds, trusts and conveniences calculated to benefit employees or ex-employees of the Society or the dependents or connections of such persons and to grant pensions and allowances and to make payments towards insurance and to subscribe or guarantee money for charitable or benevolent objects or for exhibition or for any public general or useful objects.
To enter into any arrangement with any government or authority, municipal, local or otherwise that may seem conducive to the Society’s objects or any of them and to obtain from any such government or authorities all rights, concessions and privileges which the Society may think desirable to obtain and to carry out, exercise and comply with any such arrangements, rights, privileges and concessions.
To dispose off, sell, lease, exchange, grant licences, easements and other rights over and in any manner deal with or dispose off the undertaking, property, assets, rights and effects of the Society or any part thereof for such consideration or otherwise as the Society may think fit.
To refer into or agree to refer any claims, demands, disputes or any other question by or against the Society or in which the Society is interested or concerned and whether between the Society and the members or his or their third parties to arbitration and to observe and perform and do all acts, deeds, matters and things to carry out or enforce the awards.
To borrow or raise or secure the payment of money in such manner as the Society shall think fit and in particular by mortgage charged upon all or any of the Society’s property (both present and future).
To insure the whole or any part of the property of the Society either fully or partially and to protect and indemnify the Society from liability or loss in any respect either fully or partially and also to insure and to protect and indemnify any part or portion thereof either on mutual principle or otherwise.
